Not every idea is a fit… and that’s intentional

Clear Skies focuses on a specific type of invention: simple, practical plastic products with a clear path to commercialization. We are not a general invention submission company, and we do not pursue speculative or purely conceptual ideas.

We look for ideas that: 

  • Solve a clear, real-world problem 
  • Deliver measurable value (time, cost, or material savings) 
  • Can be manufactured using plastic injection molding 
  • Fit into existing markets and distribution channels 
  • Have potential for strong utility patent protection 

We are not a fit for: 

  • App ideas or software 
  • Complex mechanical systems with high R&D requirements 
  • Concepts without a defined use case or customer 
  • Ideas that cannot be protected through utility patents

Before submitting, please review and accept the following terms. These protect both your intellectual property and Clear Skies Inc.’s ongoing development work.

1. Non-Confidentiality of Initial Review: Clear Skies cannot accept "confidential" information in an initial submission. You agree that this submission does not create a fiduciary or confidential relationship between you and Clear Skies Inc.

2. Independent Development: You acknowledge that Clear Skies Inc. was founded by innovators with over 30 patents and is actively developing many products in-house. You agree that Clear Skies shall have no liability to you if it develops, or has already developed, a product or idea that is similar or identical to the one you are submitting.

3. Submission does not equal Partnership: This submission is an inquiry only. Clear Skies is under no obligation to move forward with, respond to, or compensate you for this submission unless a formal, written agreement is signed by both parties.
